Default Nitrous for the Vette

I am definitely a n00b to the ls1 and I was wondering what would be the best kit for a 98 c5 m6 with a lid, exhaust, and a tune. Looking to run a 100 shot and wanting to know what kit you guys would recommend.

Dry and wet kits both have their advantages and disadvantages. As far as which specific system to buy, I'd just do my research and then decide though I would recommend something from NX (Nitrous Express) and I've been told that their components are of the highest quality. It's also good to talk and deal with a vendor that knows his business like Nitro Dave. He and others like him can give you good advice and point you in the right direction. I've also found that there are lots of guys here more than ready to help you when you need questions answered and they've been a great help to me and others.

Good luck!

I would recommend the Dynotune kit. Best combination of quality - price and customer service. http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=104 We run this kit in our shop Z06 and it performs flawlessly!

But then I may be biased

Had a single nozzle NX on my Z06 and it worked great for almost 2 years before moving to DP. No trouble and very high quality parts. I am a wet kit believer, but for only a 100 shot, dry will work just fine and be a simple install.
Robert (one of the moderators) has a dry kit on his Z06 and has very good luck with it. I believe he now runs 3 stages of juice!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the immediate responses. Im just going to have do quite a bit of research since the only fi Im used to is with turbos. Ill most likely just go with a single fogger dry kit for 100 shot but I am also looking at wet kits as well.

Wet or dry, our vendors will take care of you, and you'll get personal service that can't be had elsewhere. Do the research as was suggested and make an informed decission based on what fits your needs. I like to recomend dry kits as a start point, as they can be added to later to many variations: wet, dual dry/dry, dry/wet and others. Also, like was said many guys on this site can give direction/advice on any specific question once you narrow things down.

Here is the link for the dry nozzle kits.

You will need a TPS unit for the vette.
