Default Fastest LSx nitrous Car in the world??

Who owns it and what does it run? I want to know the running ones. Not like ESP, Blue Goose, ARE, etc.. Those guys are gone or have changed their setup.

Also is the record still 8.9s for LS1/6 Heads??

I need to know what I got to beat! Same car but currently going through some changes... I will hopefully be at the new race to smack down the Extreme Modified class!

You could shut the car off at the 1000ft mark for what it's worth it won't change the E.T. much (MPH is another story)but... a 1.49 60ft (alot can be trimed off there)...
Look forward to seeing u in Maryland....

You ran out of nitrous at the 1000 ft mark? What size bottle do you have? May I ask the mph?

Not the fastest N20 car out there but not to far down the ladder either. 9.23@149.1 on a 1.3X 60ft. Should be alittle faster with the new set up.

Well, we ran out of N20 that night so we made a pass on a bottle that we had already run about 700 feet out. We had it pilled for 300 that night, but on the full 1/4 pass the nitrous was surging due to the bottle being close to empty. The MPH was barely in the 140's.

Right now we're going to take about 150 lbs off of the car and really start working on the car. We will run 8's next time out. And unless something bad happens, we'll be at Thunder to run in the Extreme Modified class.

I now the ARE car went 8.54 but with C5R heads I believe. That was two years ago. We have been 5.7 @ 124 in the 1/8th, but not any times for the 1/4 yet. No 1/4 mile tracks around Dallas

Another X/M car on the gas... nice. When you say you're coming to the race does that mean MIR in Sept? Curious since you are going to lay the smack down

You know. I have sat back and read not only this trend, but the other one of "where are they at..." . Eric is the only one that has represented the nitrous community at the LS1 series. (Edit: I was corrected - ESP has also been great - since they were 2 for 2 at NvS race - but still come on - we need more)

With all this "I almost ran" or "I am going to run" Thunder Shoot Out in November should have 30 X/M entrees. And most should be 8 second nitrous cars.

If my SS is back together - which it should be - I am hoping to meet all or most of you down there. -- great weather, great track, great bunch of racers. Last year I "think" there was like 14-16 entrees. I think this year could be more AND a lot faster.

AND I agree with Eric. If you talk "smack" you should be able to back it up.

I just pluck around in my little old 10 second SS

David

ESP has set the mark and record for the class this year. They deserve the credit and have won both events this year. It should also be said those guys are a CLASS act. They've got every right to bow up and say come get some.

Regarding David's comments on me - he just knows how serious I take my racing. It ain't TnT stuff that I'm talking about - Heads up racing, run watcha brung

In this forum I consider us all nitrous brothers. If it takes some smack to stir the racers up, then bring it. I'll be your huckleberry.
