So what are the big differences between the Maximizer and the Maxamizer 2 ?? I have a brand new Maximizer in the box that I bought last year, I am planning on installing it on my CTS-V and was wondering if it is already old school... Thanks and can I trade her up since it is still brand new???

I does alot more than the older units did... Now the Maximizer 1 is still a bad *** unit, it comes in second only to the MAX 2...

first was the dials, that used phone cords for the communication. (what a joke)
Then came a 6 button one, worked ok, but was kind of bulky.
then came a 4 button unit, smaller did a little more.
The 4 botton one had 3 version 4,5,6 and these are still floating around out there.
After a little disagreement with that MFG.
I found FJO or they found me, do not remember, and they build the badest progress unit the nitrous world had ever seen... The MAX 1 was just nuts on what it could do...
Then FJO contacted me and said they could build it small and stronger and do more... NO way, YES way..
SO now we have the MAX 2... The quality is the same as the first unit, just smaller, and does a hole lot more.. Also with its new processor upgradeing and adding features is only programming..... This will be the unit I do not think we will be able to out grow it...
WARNIG:! there are units out there that say Maximiser or FRED these are not never were never will be NX products... make sure the unit you purchase is the computer programmable units..
