Purge solenoid smoking
after soming back from testnig the nitrous and emptying the line, the purge noid started smoknig. at first i thought the car was on fire since there was smoking coming from the hood with the car off, but it was the noid. im not sure if the button or the noid is what shorted out and kept power to it. what is the likelyhood that it will still work? can i just get a new coil to rebuild it or will i need a new noid. its only less then a month old. its a cold fusion peice. i havent checked it out since then, hopefully its not leaking and still works since im so broke i cant buy a new one.

Generally when you melt the coil on a solenoid will need to replace both the coil and the tower because the coil will melt/weld itself to the tower. When it does this it won't slide off of the tower.
I'm sure Matt will take care of you. Man do solenoids stink when the coil melts, haha. I hate trying to take them apart too, lol.
