Default Dry 2 stage through Fogger Nozzel Help Please

Tech guys jump in please. I would like to run two stages (dry) through a single nozzel. The NOS 5177 comes with just a single inlet fogger nozzel but I was wondering if I went to a regular dual inlet i.e. Shark or other (one side typically N20, the other for fuel) if that would work. Has anyone tried this yet. Obviously, now I would only have to make two holes in my air box instead of 4. Thanks in advance!

If you have another nozzle facing it, it should be ok, I tried spraying a Shark Nozzle dry from the side, but froze the MAF, then froze the filter after modifying it, then gave up.

Thanks Cat, I kind of figured that would happen with so much coming out of one nozzel.

I might be ******* this one up Dave, but I tried it after another brand of fuel solenoid failed to work. Might have been placement I dont know, but the damn SN had a spray pattern about as tight as a fire hose and just couldnt get it to plume for ****. Kept freezing eveything, the filter was solid!

hmmmm.Well of course the diesel guys are not spraying in a airbox or at the maff sensor.Try turning the nozzle so that it does not spray at the maff.Angle it the opisite way so that it fogs the hole box instead of going right at the maff.Just a thought.
Or I can build you a two stage Halo bar and all worries should be solved.

Tried it:
1) in the neck of the lid, too close for the spray pattern, froze center section of MAF car stumbled and sputtered choking out....

2) at the rear edge of the lid, 90* facing opposite side, tight enough pattern to freeze air
filter thus got no airflow choking out...

3) cut the 90* tip off the nozzle, still too tight.

4) drilled into the business end of the nozzle to join both entries, and to try and fan it out, still no good!

I think if I were to go at it with another nozzle facing it, like the 5177 uses, it might work.. but will hopefully be picking up a used setup from someone on here...
