Default TR6 problem?

I swapped in some NGK TR6's the other day gapped at .038 and now the SES light is on! Idle is fine, still pulls hard, but it seems to use up slightly more fuel. Any ideas? Should I be worried?

go get the ses light checked at autozone for free then look up the code in the stickey in the tuning section. if its just the air tube it won't effect power levels. just get it cleared and if it comes back get it fixed or you can get it removed and then find someone with ls1edit of hptuners to take it off of the ecm.

SES steady or does it flash? You can tell if its A.I.R. tube by listening for leaks, only pumps shortly after start up. You could very well have not got the wires on all the way, normally the issue with these cases. Good luck.

Thanks for the help guys, I'll check it out tommorrow. The SES isn't flashing btw, it's just on. I may just remove AIR altogether.

If the SES is steady can still be a misfire, old but still there.
