Default soleniod question

can i use a leftover fuel solenoid to build a purge kit, its left over from a plate system on a carb motor

Are you sure on this? Most nitrous solenoids are rated for the 1100+psi, not sure the fuel solenoids are rated the same psi. I think one of the vendors should answer this to be safe.

No you can not use a fuel solenoid as a purge kit........Airwolf is correct they are made completely different than a nitrous solenoid.

ohhhhhh i didnt look...i thought it was a nitrous solenoid...yea...you dont wanna do that hahah.

sorry about that...even though it said fuel solenoid. yea theyre different.

yea...i guess this is an example of why you should wait for a few other people to answer...i didnt read the post all the way..and you coulda had a problem..or just wasted some time.

youll almost certainly blow some pieces of that fuel solenoid apart.... maybe through the hood or your body.
