Default nitrous problem need help asap

my nitrous recently started acting up. i have a 99 trans am ls1, with 05177 nos dry kit. the nitrous started coming on and off as the rpms climbed. so i made sure all my connections were good and the full throttle swith was working right. all was ok.....then i bypassed the fuel pressure saftey switch and bam, it worked. but my problem is, i dont want to always run without that switch hooked up. what is my problem??? im only running a 100 dry shot, my fuel system should be able to keep up with that, shouldnt it? fuel system is stock, but lots of guys run stock with a baby 100 dry shot. do these fuel pressure switches act up? im so confused please help......racing friday! thanks

Just out of adjustment. Pull the plug on the end and turn counter clockwise and this will lower set pressure. However, make sure you don't have a fueling issue that can't supply system, that can do this also.

I would check the system with a fuel pressure gauge first before lowering the setting on the FPSS just to be on the safe side.

dont run it anymore until you figure out what the deal is, lack of fuel (running lean) is a good way to wreck that motor in a hurry.
