Default why does the air box pop loosewhen I spray in 1st gear?

Why does my air box pop loose when I try to spray in 1st gear, and not in 2nd? I don't spray no lower then 3000rpms, when I try it from 2nd everything is fine. I have a zex nozzle kit (wet) with the 125 jets. I had post some thing yesterday and did'nt get much info. My car is a 99 ss m6 I don't have a window switch just wot and I also do not have a purge kit. Need help please.

if u have ur lid tightend down like it should then it shouldn't come loose.

do u have a factory bellow or smooth bellow? if it's a smooth bellow what brand is it and what is it made out of? possibly could be the tq loosening ur lid when the nitrous hits in 1st.

the only thing u said yesterday in ur thread was ur lid blew off...that's more than likely a backfire.

its because the engine twists more in first gear...especially from a stop. What kind of bellows do you have?

You can try a different bellows to give you more "slack" or you can get some poly motor mounts (highly recomended BTW), or you can try to fasten the lid down using some other method than the clips.

dude, it's been asked twice...what kind of bellow do u have?
no, air in the lines cannot make it backfire.
