Default 15lb bottle won't fill

All the shop can get in it is about 10-12 pds. Its a nos 15lb bootle. I tired room temp, then they had it in the freezer for 4 hrs, then I had it in the refridgerator took it out and put it on ice in a cooler. Still they couldn't get it to fill. It always takes forever for the nitrous to go in too. He said he was gonna rebuild his pump next week but he fills his 15lb bottle with no problems. Any ideas?

His pump is probably bad. Sure he fills his 15 lb. bottle but probably only gets about 10-12 lbs. like you.

He may have to "freeze" the bottle before filling if outside temps are hot. Newer pumps do not require freezing the bottle before filling.

They already attempted that.

He prob does need a new pump, and yes freezing does help not sure why you went from freezer to fridge though. Try getting it filled somewhere else, tell him we can sell him a new pump that works

Another trick for filling and much quicker than freezing, is to hold bottle upside down and open valve for a short bit. You will feel the bottle temp come down and then you can get the reat of your poundage in. I have two 15lbers that I have to do this to on hot days, it works.

Been there 3 different times in a month. The owner also has nitrous on his car. I may try a different place next time. Thanks

Sounds like it's time to rebuild his pump. And checking the filler bottle is also something to think about.

I would also check and see if his main bottle was getting low.If so it will sound like it is still pumping nitrous but its not.
