Default Tech 2 info while spraying

I have a Preadtor and added full fuel and retarded the timing completely. I added a .040 and a .047 jets on my 5177 kit and plugged in the Tech2. I did a 1st gear pull and had 0 KR. Then I did a 5-6 gear pull and still 0 KR. Can I add some timing back and lean it out a lil bit now or what?????

What was your before and after timing. This thing that some believe about running timing up until KR then back off a bit is incorrect. The way to set timing is for the most power and that's it. To much can be less power and still no knock retard. If you plan on a dyno tune, that's the best way, or stay with stock or lower timing setting. I wouldn't do any more 5/6th gear pulls on the spray, lugging that engine may be the last time it runs.

thanks for the reply......I plan on doing a dyno tune after the h/c install with the
so I can assume to only spray it 2-4th?, maybe 1-4th

Yea, 1 thru 4 it will keep the rpms up. The problem with 5/6 is overdrive and rpm's drop and running n2o for to long this way can do egine harm.
