Default Nitrous and supercharger

What is the best setup to run with a procharger? Wet or Dry? I don't want to go over a 150 shot. I already have the NOS 5177 that was in my other car.

I personally Like the wet systems better on a supercharged application.A simple NX single nozzle kit would work great.

Here is my car on a DRY SHOT post maf nitrous shot (.073 jet) DYNO VID. For MY car and setup(the ford, lol) I like the DRY shot (blower isn't meant to have fuel through it).

Awesome cooling effects on any forced air system, wet systems work great .. when you're already forcing that much air in, you want to make sure you're fueled

Is NX better than the TNT kit. I'm looking to spray 100 on my setup, 150 if i have to.

Either one of those systems are great. TNT and NX make a quality system. Check out our christmas specials. There are some killer deals in there.

I heard that you can have a nasty explosion with the wet kits.

Without all that extra fuel in the tract any backfire will be relatively small unless something major goes wrong like an intake valve hung open and charge pushed back up on the compression stroke. Even then it will be smaller.

No. If you're wanting to launch your intake and maybe take the hood with it then the wet kit is the best bet.

The direct port systems are the best, but are a bit pricey. Dry is the cheaper way to go.

I'm assuming that since you have a supercharger that you also have a handle on the PCM tuning as well, so there's no reason not to use a dry system.
(oops I guess you don't have the supercharger)

One more point that I've heard, with boost you need 1/2 the NO2. It has twice the affect as NA because it cools the charge. Maybe Robert or Dave can verify.....

Wahusker, your right, you will see a bigger hp gain compared to a n/a car of same size shot. I don't know the exact numbers, but yes in fact because of the also benifit of cooling bigtime.
