Default Best Way to empty a Nitrous Bottle? Can't spray

Have a 10 lb nx bottle, was full, did a few dyno runs and they likley used it to test the purge etc. Never ran it on the street My motor blew so I nw have a new motor and need break it in before I spray just o keep my warranty in place in case something wih the engine goes wrong in the 1st 500 miles. If i spray and have an issue I will have no way to get it fixed.

Main reason is my bottle needs to be empty so they can put a few things on the bottle (the noid for the heater and the blow down tube) that need the bottle empty to be installed, so I need to empty it.

Plus I can't run the car on the nitrous until I break in and tune it NA, so I just want to empty it so I can get my install complete.

Not sure ow much is left, plus I have a billet bracket and never weighed the NX 10lb bottle with the brackett and empty bottle, or I woul djust put it on the scale.

My pressure is only 550 when I turn on the bottle, so it seems low??? When I press purge it just makes a noise, there is no white or any color cloud if that tells you anything.

Dave said I can purge 10-15 seconds constantly, but not to do that twice in a row in a short period or it may dammage the noid.

Anyway, please share with me how to get rid of my Nitrous in my Bottle.

Thanks

I have a remote bottle opener on it and never took that top part off yet, so if it isn't tooooo full, I don' want o mess with that, but I am sure it is ez to take off.

If I can empty it by purging, that wil be easier, just not sure how long that will take and if it will hurt anything.

I guess I can do a little each day.

Thanks

disconnect your main feed line at the bottle and use the opener to open it.

Great Idea. The bottle is connected and will only move sooo far, so it will still be in my match area. I guess I can sit the bottle upright and point the exit valve out the car toward the rear of the car,

then have someone hold the bottle so it doesn't move around and just open the valve slowly with the remote BO, that should do it.

How long will it take to empty say 1/2 the bottle?

Thanks Guys, you guys answer so fast and I appreciate the info.

Just purge it or take it out of the car and open it slightly.

That stuff adds to the green house effect. So, I suggest disconnecting line at noid and hooking a gas mask up and use it that way, you will get the giggle effect that way, and save our planet at same time.
Like they said just bleed it off at bottle.
