Default SuperRam question

Ok, i have heard the horror stories about guys blowing the top off the SuperRam and eating a bolt.. with a plate system.. is this because of misuse? or is it ganna happen sooner or later? If i use a fogger in the intake elbow will that cause problems.. or the new LT1 plate actully looked pretty cool dave posted. planing on 2 stages of juice. I was trying to get away from direct port because the runners are so close to the valve cover. i would have to pull every ****** nozzle out to take the covers off. Please help thanks in advance

I haven't seen the new plate from Dave but I have heard the stories as well, it's uneven distribution with the plate and the superram. I would stick with the fogger in the intake until someone else trys the plate and has good results.

Yea, i wasnt sure about the plate but it looks bad ***.. heres a pic..



Do u guys think the Nozzle in the intake elbow is safe enough for the superram?

I think the plate would be fine on there. TPI base with a large plenium on top is what I see. Kinda of like an ls1 turned upside down. Runner going under insted of over.

I think the new generation of plate systems must have the distribution issue figured out. I don't think Dave or NOS would release a product that didn't work.
