Default NX bottle opener refill WITHOUT REMOVING MOTOR.

Ok you will need 2 maybe 3 9volt batterys, there harness' opener style switch, DPDT, weather pack, a small amount of wire, and a clean case or DUCK TAPE>
You wire the batteries in series with each other, then the RED and Black Left over will go to your DPDT switch, then to the weather pack. Final put into a small case or get the DUCK TAPE out and put it all together...
What you just built is a small remote bottle opener power source.

I built one of these in the past a long, long, long time ago. Work like a champ...
Just make sure you get the same weather pack side that is on the car side of the harness......
I take some pics this weekend and show you..

I knwo you explained how to make it in your post, but it doesn't mean as much if you don't know what your talkign about.

What is a weather connector, how do you wire in series? What wires do you use, where do you get all this stuff.

Man I wish we had a picture.

weather pack connector is like the connector you get with your bottle heater it's a quick disconnect connector

In your kit with the bottle opener came some quick disconnects.. You just have to find the same side as your harness has for the remote controller... Then it just plugs into your opener harness.

Approx how much current does the motor draw? Does it change with bottle pressure?

So all you need is + and - going to the weatherpak from the on off switch. I think even I could do this. Where do you buy the connectors for the car side ?

Ricky, you should post up some IN DEPTH instructions for the LS1tech users here. Just to ensure you help those of us who are completely retarded. That would be awesome if you did something like that. I mean this is a great idea you created here! Not to mention that you might be losing a high dollar idea to some of the vendors on this site without a patent. JMO

Ok sorry it took so long to find. Here it is. I use 3 9volts batteries in series for a total of 27 volts. Do not remember why the batteries might be a little weak. I would recommend starting with 2 @18 volts.

The plastic box radio shack think was 4 or 5 dollars. then a switch and 9 volt jumpers.

I see another product opportunity for NX that Dave can sell I'd buy a $10 or $15 switch from Dave. You already know how much it cost to make. Wouldnt bother me in the slightest to pay double or more for somethiing under $20 in this case.

Someone needs to find where the Weather Connectors can be bought that will fit the NX Remote Bottle Opener.

Looks liek the rest is at Radio Shack
