Default Drilling jets

Is there a way to figure out what size drill bit you need to drill say a #78 and 44 jets? Are the numbers just the thousands size of the hole? If so then I can covert to drill size using a chart right?

Thanks

Well, yes the jet sizes are thousanths of an inch, so a #50 jet is .050 of an inch.

But I don't recomend drilling them, pay the couple bucks and buy them. Your tollerance may not be as high as the manufacturers. Plus if you are using NX jets take a look at the tapers they have, and not all are the same, so even if you match the hole size it may not flow as NX designed it to.
