Default how to test a solenoid

title says it best. how would i test one with a multimeter. thanks

Connect one wire to the positive side of a battery and the other wire to a ground.

how does the electrical work in adry kit. step by step. what makes the spray move and y etc...just curious

On the control side, power (+) comes from the battery to one side of your arm switch, then out the arm switch to the activation switch (either a push button or a WOT), then to the coil side of the the relay then to ground.
On the solenoid side, power would come from the battery (+) to the contact, then from the contact to the solenoid then to ground.
