Default Too much bottle psi?

can you have too much bottle psi as long as the blow down doesnt pop? I had like 1500 psi accidentally because my heater got stuck on and it ran better than ever before

It ran better than before probably because it was running leaner than normal due to the very high bottle pressure. Technically yes, you can have too high of a bottle pressure. Once the pressure gets above approximately 1040-1050psi the nitrous turns into a super-critical fluid (meaning it's no longer a gas or a liquid, but kind of inbetween). It's still debated wether or not this is positive or negative for making more power, some car's I've seen run faster and some run slower so I guess it's just a chance situation.
