Default the fastest stock ls1 with nitrous

i want to know who in the u.s is the fastest stock ls1 f-body...im talking about completely stock ..just the way it came out of the dealer but them slapped some n20 on it and ran it? no aftermarket anything...the only thing allowed ofcourse would have to be drag radials or slicks...becasue without them nitrous is useless!

Ok I know it is not all stock but all I have is a lid and SLP-LM cat-back and 125 RW shot and stock A4 with stock converter and it runs 11.6s with ET-drags.

I think the CAI should be included. If someone has enough sense to put DR's on, then likely they have a CAI also. To bad you weren't asking for bonestock long block LS6's cause I happen to know someone who has a 10.xx one with a small dry shot.

I guy I know (Dave Purlee) went 10.XX on a stock motor with nitrous, and probably a lid and exhaust. He is on I think NX Express home page.

I can't imagine it would be too hard to run 10s on a 200 shot with some good tires. I know a couple people with just drag radials and 125 shot running mid 11s.

Default nitrous on ls1 in the long run? engine wear/damage? higher milelage

how does nitrous (from small shots like 50shot to massive shots over 100shot) effect/work with the ls1?
saying its tuned right and professionally installed....future engine damage? engine wear? engine parts/bolt on parts being damaged?.....how does it look in the long run for the car? in the use of over 60k-80k miles? anyone have advice or opinions?

The only answer i can give is for my own car,64,000 miles of nitrous use and it does not burn any oil, smoke, ever, and has no troubles i can tell of at the moment.

Started with a 75 dry ,then 115 dry to finally a 150 wet set-up.
NOS 5177 converted to a NX wet kit with all the toys added.

Hope that tells ya something.

a 150 shot is easy on the ls1,just gotta make sure the fuel can get there at the right time
