Default Just finnished the install and tested it out!!!

Hell yeah! I installed a racetronix fuel pump, then worked on the nitous line routing, then finally finnished all the electrical wiring, and just put the TR6 plugs in. So I put jets in for 50hp and tested it out by grounding the relay and with the car off, and the noids were working fine. then I set the window switch at 1000 rpm and tested it out with the nozzle in a rag, and it worked with the engine running...

so I went for a little test drive on some backroads. i made a couple runs with it off to get a feel for it again, then I armed the system...

I set the window switch on at 3.3 and off at 5.8 (conservative top), so I went in 2nd gear and floored it at about 2.5rpm, then the rpms rose and at 3.3 I felt it hit! damn it was awesome! it didnt hit hard at first but the second time i could feel it hit a lot more. and this is just the 50 shot!

I plan on doing 100 shot, just wanted to check everything out. Im going to change my oil right now and then maybe step up the jetting.

Ill post up some pics pretty soon to show the clean install, i got to buy some more wire to route some stuff different, I ran out of length.

YES!!

wow... i decided to put the 100 shot jets in and try it out... the air is pretty cold and the car is running strong as it is. so I tried it in 2nd gear and as soon as the rpms reached the window sitch on point it just broke the rear loose and spun like crazy! well this is cold air so the tires dont have as much traction, but it definitely hit! so then I tried it from a 3rd gear pull, OMG when it kicked in it just startd pulling like crazy. it was the best feeling when it just threw me back and started taking off. It stuttered a little and I think it cut off the next couple times i tried it so i think its the FPSS. when I tested the pressure with my air compressor it was about 40 so i think i can adjust it down just a tad and see if it helps.

so anyway, the 100 shot was CRAZY I have 374/360 NA so thats my hp levels. I only did it in single gear pulls, i havent raced with it yet. I cant wait to go to the track now! DAMN!!

LOL,
Good thing you are in Houston. Us lucky Texas guys still have a little racing weather left.

Glad to see that you are liking it. It gets worse, before you know it you'll be asking what is needed to spray 250+ haha. I'm interested in seeing the pics of the install, so get those pics up if you can manage to pull yourself away from the car, lol.

Dave- Lucky for you Southern Texas guys, it's freakin' cold up here in N. Tx. It's really bad when I get off of the bike and I can't straighten my fingers for at least 5 min. haha.

this is the bracket i made out of some sheet metal

I made a little bracket for the switch out of some scrap. Im going to make it look better later by making a plate that fills in the space around the switch

heres just a couple more pics of the install from my website, check it out

thanks, I tried to get the wire loom like the rest of the OEM stuff but the radioshack only had it in big 1/2" size, so i got that different style. it kind of sticks out but its close enough

I dont keep track of the time, but pump took about half a day, and nitrous wiring took about 2 evenings. I did the nitrous over a weekend so it was spread out, and I like to take my time and think about everything which makes it longer
