Default Nitrous Solenoid

I was trying to dream up a cool safety system, which involves alot of electronics.

Anyways, when a solenoid fails does the resistance stay the same as when it was opened?

and will a 1v open a regular working solenoid?

what do you mean "when a solinoid fails"?

Are you saying a failed coil?
