Default relay switched amp draw

if i'm controlling an 18 amp circuit with a 30 amp relay, what would be the amp draw of the switched leg of the relay ( the signal coming from the control switch)....thanx

If you are asking how much current does the relay it'self draw? A typical Bosch or Hella draws les than an amp...I believe the coil is 75 ohms...so you'll get about 0.16 amps by E=IR (12 Volts=I (amps) /75 (ohms)) or (12/75=0.16).
