not really besides the extra octain and feeling of being alittle safer running the race gas on the nitrous, everytime i decide to spray my second stage i always add some race gas for the feel good feeling of knowing that i have that extra safety factor.

Doesn't add any power itself.
It does allow the engine to survive with a more aggressive tune. A more aggressive tune can make more power.

In the case of engine survival under certain conditions, then yes it makes a difference.

extra octane will help the cylinders stay cool and stay out of detonation. If you have race gas use it. Like they said in earlier post it won't make any power by itself but it will allow you some gains with nitrous and better engine life on the gas.
