150 rwhp shot safe on stock LS1?
I am interested to see if this is safe. It sounds to me that it would allow for some low/mid 11 second runs How would this compare to a completely stock ls1 on boost?

Depending on if it's wet or dry...some have done it. IMO, I would get bigger pump and/or fuel injectors. If you want to do it safely on existing stock equipment, if that is what you have, then put in some higher octane gas - 100+octane.

Yes, as long as you have the other minor add-ins that help aid in correct nitrous usage.
I.E. - fuel pressure safety switch, window switch, correct plugs and a correct tune. With a 200 shot I would probably take out from 3-6 degrees of timing.

when i first put the kit in my 00 formula, all i had was a slp airlid. set for 200 motor rating (143 rwhp). went 11.97 @ 118.
currently, slp airlid, k/n filter, bassani tru-duals, yank py3400e, 4.10 gears, it went 11.66 @ 117.67 having to shift into 4th about 60ft before the end.
now have 3.73 gears. we'll see what happens around january.

You do not need bigger injectors to run a 150 wet shot...If it is a TNT kt we are talking about, you need to upgrade the pump. Other than that you'll be fine, though I highly recommend a wideband O2. Then again Id recommend that for ANY hit of N2O.

Are these 175 rwhp shots or flywheel? Also, Ed, were you rwhp or flywheel?
