Default spark plugs w/ a bad tune?

hey guys,

i'm in the middle of my cam swap, and with everything off the car i figured maybe changing the spark plugs now would be a good idea.

I have my new plugs TR6's or whatever they are lol I bought them awhile ago.

1st question, should a .038" gap be enough? for a 150 wet shot?

2nd question, is it going to be okay to put those plugs in now, with a bad tune since I'll have the new cam, and no cats. I wont beable to get it dyno tuned until the summer. That car will be sitting for winter.
I didn't know if the plugs would get fouled up?

thanks guys

I'd gap them a little tighter, maybe .035, but they should be fine where they're at. I wouldn't be worried about fouling plugs, I'd be worried that you're going to be running lean up top with a big untuned cam. I wouldn't spray it with out tuning. You probably won't like driving around with that cam untuned anyway.
