Default 90mm TNT power ring

Has anyone made their standard size ring fit a 90mm TB? I was thinking I could take some out of the inside to get it to slide over the TB, but wanted to check to see if it could be done before I went to grinding.

Not gonna happen man, the id of the lip that slides onto the tb could be cut to accept the 90mm but the id that flows air would still be less than par.. What we have been using is a 90mm LS2 ring and cutting the lip to accept aftermarket tbs but it has a true 90mm inlet for flow... We based the 90mm ring off the LS2 tb for prod consistancy.. Thanks David@TNT

Damn, didnt think of that. Well you want to swap a polished standard size ring for a LS2 ring?

Could you machine the standard one to 90mm as well? NW has the same OD on his TB so it should fit right. So you could just machine the inside of the standard one to 90mm no?

I got tired of waiting for the 90mm ring (no one had one at the time). I machined the inside out to I think 88mm, with a slight chamfer. Then on my LS2 throttle body filed the lip flat, to fit the rings i.d. Works great, as far as I can tell anyway.

Who keeps the 90mm or "LS2" power rings in stock? I need one for my 90/90 setup.
