Default Please critique my nitrous install.

I just finished laying out all the nitrous and fuel lines to see how it would all fit. please critique or let me know if you see any potential problems with my install or have any sugestions on how I should install my nitrous kit, dont worry, you wont hurt my feeling's if you dont like something you see , I'll be using a progressive controller on this setup. BTW is there any problem running the fuel and nitrous lines under the thottle body and intake? is there any problems with zip wrapping the fuel and nitrous line to the coolent line? Thanx in advance.

The only thing i'm looking @ is the nozzle to MAF mounting? Is there any washer
or something on the inside of the hose? Or just the jam nut? As far as routeing it looks great. And you can zip to the coolant.

Yes I definatly need to do somthing about the way gauge adapters fit, I treid to fit two sensors on one adapter but the sensors and adapter as one piece would not mount or fit anywhere in there well at all, I think I will place on sensor in the fuel rail and leave the other one where It's at. That should work.

I am not a fan of having a 10 foot fuel line running around the front of the engine. Remember, it stays full of gasoline at all times up to the solinoid. Not too safe. I would move the solinoids to the other side of the engine to keep the fuel line to the solinoid as short, and safe, as possible.

That is the only thing I see that looks like it could use a change.

Yes, I can see that as being dangerous in a crash. BTW the hose is 3.5' but still in front of the engine.

Actually I was more concerned about the long fuel line getting up against a rotating part which would cause an abrasion to the line which would cause a small hole that would allow high pressure fuel to spray on a hot engine. One spark and your car could almost burn to the ground before you could get it stopped.
The installation itself looks very clean and professional. You do excellent work.

Definitely looks good, are you running two stages or just a dual nozzle, single stage?

I was thinking that too, but I was thinking also that those line's by the pully are only under pressure when you hit the nitrous, not all the time, Good eye that you saw that . I'm going to drive around awhile without spraying to see what happens, I do appreciate the feed back too.

Actually the fuel line by the pully is under full pressure whenever the engine is running or the key is turned on. There is nothing in the line that would stop the flow until the fuel reaches the fuel solenoid, which is at the end of the line.

I think I know which fuel line your talking about, your taking about the fuel line that looks close to the powersteering pully in the picture. I think It looks closer in the pic than it really is, but I'm not 100% shure,I will definatly check that again the next time I go into the garage. Thanks

It's a good install. Shorten the fuel line as mentioned and move those senders perhaps...again already mentioned. Then it will be great.
