Default who is the owner of this car? and is this good?

would spraying derectly into the throat like that be the same as spraying into the sides? or would it build and not be as efficent, besides the fact that there is only one and not 2.... nd anything else about this you can see wrong or might not be the best spots?

because i would like to put mine just like that person did but i dont know if it would be as good as if it is mounted the way everyone else does it.... id like to keep it as hidden as possible... so any sugestions or thoughts r welcome.

Thanks!
Ryan

I have a friend spray like that. He didn't have any problems I'm sure some people have though.

I ran mine like that for about a year with absolutly no problems, had the solenoids hidden between the radiator and air conditioner condensor with the lower airbox hiding them. Single jet/nossle conversion in the exact same location. Sprayed 100 shot and had no problems.

No there's nothing wrong with it.
Just because someone may have had a problem doesn't mean anything is wrong with it.

Personally, I think it would be better to have a bulkhead through the plastic then an NOS single fan nozzle attached to that (in the neck there). Face the opening towards the front of the air box.

I'm thinking about doing something like that when I get around to buying a kit.

no, it's not

It's off of Tripleblackramairt/a 's car, which was totaled about 6 months ago. If you search for "hidden nitrous" or my name, you can find other pics also.

The car was bonestock+slp dual dual catback, HP tuners, moser 12 bolt and full suspension. It had a 150 shot and was running low 11's at low 120s....in a 6 speed vert. I'll post up a vid in a second.

That's questionable if you face away from the MAF you won't get the COLD
registering on the MAF.Depending on ambient temperature this can be a problem. Without the drop in temperature the PCM may or MAY NOT go totally rich. Meaning the injectors will go into overduty but
how much?

ok I have to ask, for the nozzle in the throat of the lid, do you (the people who are running this set up or know someone who is running this set up) do you just spray against the top of the throat, or do you have a 90 degree nozzle, and if so do you have it pointed towards the maf or against towards the middle of the air box against the air flow?

the one in the pictures is spraying "against the top". They are rec.ing that if you put a 90 degree onj there, spray AWAY from the hot wires.

just a question, why should i spray away from hot wires... i know nitrous isnt flamable so y? and what kind of hot wires would be in the air box to the throttle body?

hes talking about the wires in the MAF-
I shoot directly up-
when the n2o passes by it cools the wires- this makes the computer add more fuel- the reason a dry kit works-

"hot wires" are just the wires (or wire) on the maf sensor. You should spray away from the MAF because it will most likely make the car go EXTREMELY rich (and I have even heard of going extremely lean, just never actually seen it (or believe it).
