Question Are Dyno tune kits the best?

I have been looking at the best way to boost horsepower without messing the the engine alot and i have come to nitrous. Dyno tune seems to be the cheapest and they have a kit for my 1998 camaro LS1. Are they a good kit. is their a better one for just a good a price and is spraying the way to go?

You have no idea how many different opinions you're going to get on the "best" nitrous kit. You also need to define "best". Most people say "best" when they're referring to features or quality. It seems like maybe the "best" kit to you is the one that's the cheapest while still getting the job done.

I had a dynotune kit as my first kit if it's any help to you.

I am in the process of installing a DynoTune Dry kit myself. Dean made it a dual nozzle kit for me at my request. I honestly think you can't really go wrong with any of the sponsor kits, whether NX and Nitrous Dave, CF and Nitrous Direct, or Dynotune.

I went with DynoTune for price and because they were relatively "Local".
I was pleased with their packaging and quality thus far. Instructions are good and Dean has answered alot of my questions, but so have Dave and Ricky from NX (knowing I did not buy their kit), as well as Robert56 from Nitrous Direct.

I would say call each, tell em what ya want, and see where it leads you. Mention the forum and you may get a discount; buy more accessories (heater, opener, etc.) and you may get a discount too. Also if your close to one, paying cash might net ya discount too...

I swear if I see another "best kit" thread I'm going to strangle the original poster.

I got a Dyno Tune kit, I will say the noids look a little small to me compared to the NX kits. I will say for the money its worth it.

Like has been said, just shop around and make your choice based on what meets your goals. Dyno Tune stuff is fine, and I have some of their products on my Z06.

The best kit for you is the one that you buy if you like it. I have never heard a bad thing about them, They make nice heaters too.

There is no good kits they are all pieces of sh*t!!!!!

Now on a serious note, do some shopping around. Check for copmleteness of the kit and go from there. The more complete the kit the less the incedentials
will add up.
