224 581 cam and 5.3 heads....how much nos can? I have a 224/224 .581 .581 110 cam on stage 2 5.3 heads. How much can the engine handle on a wet shoot of nitrous. I also have an upgraded fuel pump to handle the fuel requirements. Just need to know if anyone is doing this set up? Thanks

You shouldn't have a problem on a 150 shot. If you feel like gambling a little you can push the size up, you might want to look into a progressive controller to help the bottom end and pulling some timing if you have advanced it any.

With the added compression I would add 5 gallons of either 110 or 112 octane to 5 gallons of 93 octane. This will help cure any detonation problems you may encounter. After running it with the 150-shot if everything checks out you shouldn't have any problem going to a 175-shot suffice you keep your eye on the tune and O2's. Hope this helps.
