Default moving bottle into reaching distance@

right now it sits in the very back. And i realized its a pita to get out of the car and have to pop truck and turn the bottle on. Well i was prob going to put it right above the gas tank area or in the back were the hump is, but i think it would be difficult to get it in there and bolting down the brackets.

Also i know this is a dumb question, but when i mount the bottle have the *** facing me in the upwards position right?

I removed the passanger back seat. You can use the regular cheap mounts that your kit comes with. All you have to do is drill two holes in the bracket that holds up the back seat. No holes in the floor board to worry about.

We have a mounting bracket that goes right on the ear hump. Works great and looks good to.

Well if you want to keep the seat bottoms you could always do this.

If you do any drilling on the tunnel, reach under the carpet and pull the fuel pump harness off the drivers side of the tunnel.

Edit: Dave beat me to it.

i have mine exactly like setxws6's- although not at as much of an angle. works awesome, i just reach back and open it, or turn back and look at the pressure guage. the passenger seat can still be all the way back on the rails, and leaned back more than any ghetto thug would be comfortable with before the valve touched the back of the seat.

the reason i didn't put it on the hump= throw a jacket over it in the position i have it mounted in, lean the seat back till it touches the valve/****- and say "what bottle"

Just remember that if you want to take out the system one day then you will have holes through the floor or back hump of the car.

Thats the good thing about our bracket. The holes will be left but the rear seats hide them.

yeah all i would have to do is put the rear seats back in and re-bend the bottum bracket on the rear seat that i flattened to mount the bottle bracket and nobody would ever know. unless of course they took the rear seats out.

i must say that bracket is PIMP though. if i wasn't such a cheap bastard i'd buy it- and it doesn't even cost much! im that cheap..

Have you taken your car to the track like that? I know not everyone uses nitrous for "off road" racing, but I would think if you ever got tech'd that setup would fail, the bottle is not securely mounted, whereas in the event of a mishap the bottom end wanting to move forward would overcome the bolts holding the front down. Just asking, dont shoot me too much.

I think that looks awesome!!

How secure is it? Is it mounted using bolts or screws?

I have a baby seat in the car so I want to make sure its in there solid.

i found out my problem. It was the relay.

I drilled 2 holes in my floor board and it HOLDs very well, plus the 2 that are already in the car from the back seats.

It comes with bolts. You drill through the tranny tunnel and bolt the bracket in.
