Default life span???

thinking of getting the MS3 or Torquer and a 100 shot. About what is the expected life span of the engine. Using the shot about 4 times a month.

Depends on your fuel system and the tune. With a proper tune and all the safety features for the N20 it could last while. There are plenty of guy running ms3's, trex, etc on 150 shots and they have lasted a while.

ok well considering the fuel system is capable and the tuning is done by a reputable person. How long is a "while" I mean is that 3-5 years or 1-5 months????

I personally have had 14 hot rods, all with Nitrous. I have never blown one up. If you have it installed by a compatent installer, and you take a couple of safety measures, you'll have years and many miles of fun... I have a shop here in Houston, I have been dealing with nitrous for a little more then 14 yrs. Let me know if I can help.

Do something wrong and the lifespan could be measured in seconds.
Do everything right and it could be the same as staying naturally aspirated.
On a well working nitrous system it's normally the drivetrain parts that give out way before the engine does.
