Default Tuning car before nitrous?

I think i need to tune my car to see if its rich or lean....if i take it to a shop/dealer would I just ask them to check if its rich or lean....or is there other things to check that may affect nitrous???

You will want to know the Degree's of timing, and AFR, as well as fuel pressure, those are the basic three. Have you looked through the stickies up top of this section?

I wouldn't just take it the dealer or a regular shop. Get an actual wideband A/F ratio (off a dyno or something similar) and then like the others said, check your WOT timing and fuel pressure. Definitely read the stickies as there's some other items you may need to upgrade depending on your current mods and what you're looking to add nitrous-wise.
