Default rpm - tach wierd issue 7 k bounce!?@

hooked up my new 150 wet shot kit on the new motor. set the jets up for a 100 shot to test it. gave it a few runs and the rpms on the tach bounced off of 7 k but the motor was no where near that. I noticed after i got off the shot the rpms where back to where they were supose to be. i hooked up a WOT switch, On off switch and a momentary switch. i took power off the cig lighter for the On Off switch and the momentary switch. I used the ground block and power block up by the battery for the relay to the selonoids. What would cause the rpms to read so erraticly?

Did you mess with any other wiring, under the hood?

Are you using the momentary for the purge only?

i didn't mess with any other harnesses doing the install. i think the ground and power i used goes to the pcm also? the momentary switch is to keep me from spraying throught shifts because i tend to power shift(M6).

Never heard of anyone using a momentary for a poor man's window switch. That might be your problem, if your using the pcm for ground and pwr from the pcm, then you might be getting some kind of issues there.
