Default Taking time to smell the roses!

Damn seems like everytime I go out for a test and tune or a dyno tune for a/f I get all wrapped up in the tiny details. Do you get this way...if my 60's are off by .01 or my rwhp is off a tad it drives me nuts. Well after this past weekend of dyno tests, i pmed Ricky the results and he reminded me of a simple and important thing. GO HAVE FUN!! I almost forgot.

That is something that is greatly forgot. During the course of trying to get the best numbers and best track times its easy to forget why you started the hobby in the first place. To have fun!!!

Its nice to have someone to remind you every now and then that you are suppose to be having fun. I need reminded from time to time also..

Well...at the risk of sounding full of myself or ****. I posted the highest HP numbers at a fellow member's site's Dyno Day this past weekend. Joey Anderson, a fellow LS1techer has a Carolina site called http://www.carolinarides.com . Its a cool local forum for us Carolinians. They had their Dyno day as I said...the Black Beast posted the highest HP number...my 4L60e/Yank 3600/Strange 12 bolt 4.11 (a gentle reminder that I have power train loss) wacked out a reasonable 570.01 RWHP. My mechanic and friend Dave Moore's 04 Super charged/nos Cobra had the best HP/Torque ratio at 571...mine was 534. Anyway...yea we are still playing...here's the video...my Fikse wheel is at the beginning...my car is the black Camaro filmed from behind. (I'm in the blue shirt out of focus watching under the hood for standalone fuel pressure, window switch function and TPS leds...it was a short 200 shot burst.
