Default Timing Retard

I am gonna run a progressive shot system 100 off the line and the other hundred progressively. (2 nozzle system). I want to use the MSD Retard Module Selector, 0°-11° P/N 121-8676. How much retart do I give it. My current timing is at 33

Not familiar with that particular box, but does it work with LS1 Ignition? Anyway, I would set it up, and this just my safe tail, for initial retarding of -5* (off your base of 33*) and then an additional -6 for a total of 22* while using some race gas mix. Once I established that being a safe amount, no KR, nothing unusual on the plugs I would adjust up/down from there for optimal performance. If you cannot run two different settings, I would reduce the tune timing to 28* ( you wont notice a bit of difference in driving or racing, but 33* is pushing the edge) and then kick out the 100shot, once the second 100 hits I would pull it down -6 and again go from there. GL

sorry, just seen its an LT1, disregard the working on LS1 "?"
