Thumbs up finaly got some shake downs!!!!!!! new setup

well, i got a brake in the weather finally!
got to the track and it was nice, and weather was looking good!
pulled the car off the trailer, no change to the suspention from last year, and a 10th of delay in the box.
everything went good, stage up, 1.35 60', 5.90 in the 1/8 @ 117+, just befor the 1000', throtle cable poped off and i had to shut the car down! but still went 9.41 @ 126

go to the trailer, fix it, go for my next pass, launch it, and it felt like crap, let out, got back in, let out, got back in again, shut the spray off, and it felt the same, so i knew no spray so i went on motor. probably lost 1/2 a second messing with the on and off thing, but went 11.1 @ 122, get to the trailer, and stupid me put the cable back in the wrong spot. i had my old man check it for wot, but my gas peddle didnt go to the floor so it wouldnt hit the wot switch easy fix.

last pass, didnt change anything, exept pulled the delay out. everything good, go up, nice wheels up launch, 1.30 60' 5.9 @ 116 1/8, and a 9.35 @ 144 then my hood blew off!!!!!!! scared theshit out of me, but i was happy with the results anyway!!
new bests, and first time out with the new setup.

keep in mind, i was on 1 stage and only 225-250 worth of spray

2nd stage, 150 more spray, and a little suspention tweeking and we should be good to go. oh yhea, the car was still nice and fat, so a little fuel tuning will be needed.
real happy with the results of the shake down runs!!!

Thanks a million to ken and East Side for helping me build anotherstout set up!!!!

and |ND for a nice N2O set up!

Noyzee good times right off the trailer. Just keep it up and the tuneup will fall in place with the new setup. You will be an easy 8's car this year i would put money on that!!!

Damn it Brad...you go and blow the hood off? If anything I'd expect you to blow the tires off at the launch, but not the hood. You looking for Sunoco or regular cowl?

Great times....... Couple of questions: How much (if any) percentage wise does this car see the street? What size headers? and although I've seen you mention that your cam is an N20 cam do you feel comfortable saying the specs? (you can pm if necessary)
Oh yeah, and what's your raceweight. I think I remember this being a 3 speed auto... but im not sure- if it is..... disregard my first question LOL
