You just trying to hit the guy at the end of the track... lol. What do you think 20-30 ft in the air.
Hope it did not screw the hood up to bad.
Now the question.
Why did it come off?

it was like 40' up

im pretty sure it was the opening in the front letting to much air in, and no place to go. i will be repairing the hood, and blocking those holes

Even if you blocked off those holes the hood would still fly straight up. I don't want to hijack your thread and get into too much about why this is so, but I wouldn't expect any change from blocking the holes--except maybe you'd go a little faster.

The only reason hoods smack windshields is that they're hinged at the back.

please get into it! i dont want to spend time and money fixing the hood just to have it pop off!!! i dont know why this hood would be worse thenn any other?
