Default Do I need a fuel pressure regulator and FPSS? Where are they located?

I will be running 100-125 wet shot here soon. My fuel pump will be replaced with a Racetronix one. I will have a FP guage in the car so I can watch it.

Do I need a FPSS or regulator? Do the regulators that come stock on f-bods work well enough? The regulator is located in the tank right?

But I have to buy a FPSS, or do I? Where would I install that?

The FPSS threads onto the end of the drivers side rail, remove the valve inside the test port and install FPSS using teflon paste on threads.
Regulator is in the tank, top portion of the fuel pump module. Only need to replace when you start going higher on the shot size for fp to keep up, or if your stock one dies. Yes the stock reg. works well enough for shots under say 250. Some ppl have lean spike issues before that others have it well over that.

So if I wanted to up it to 150 shot, would the regulator still be ok?

Should be, some heads/cam and/or stroker motor cars replace the stock regulator and relocate it to the fuel rail and then run a return back to the tank. You usually see them more on 600+ RWHP vehicles.

Is there anywhere to place the fpss near the rear of an Fbody?
