Im not making a nitrous car but need a little more jump so i wanna run a dry kit cause there real easy to use. But iv been hearin stories about a ob1 computer not bein able to read the nitrous sprayed. Is this correct or no. How many people are runnin dry kits on obd1 lt1's and how the car run with it.

I'm running a dry system and still using the stock OBD1 computer. LT1 kits are different than the LS1 kits.

2 types of dry kits..one sprays the maf and the other bumps the fuel pressure.

I posted the same question...I have a nitrous work wet system for my LT1 and I wanted to convert to dry(maf) and I got some yes and no if this will work.

If you can wait I will let you know...

I also have upgraded fuel pump, window switch,fp switch, wideband o2 switch

ya, i heard to run a "mustang" kit because it sprays after the MAF and uses vaccum to bump the fuel press. up for it. My buddy has it on his TPI firebird. Sounds like it should work good. But id rather run a dry kit before the MAF if itll work. What kit you usin 94vette?

the only reason i'm converting to a dry set-up is for a cleaner install and also with my current n/a combo and stock block, don't want to run too big of a shot anymore.

I installed a 5176 NOS kit on my friends 95 Caprice went in no problem made a huge diffrence in power in that big boat of a car. Over 200,000 on the engine with no problems although the tranny is starting to show its age. This is with 150hp jet

i just installed a dry kit (100 shot) that is old school and stealthy on my 94z28. i do not have upgraded fuel system whatsoever but the car has been logged and is fine for a 100 shot. this is also after a cc305 cam and full bolt ons. the kit is pieced together with NX parts...completely hidden. i have a toggle switch under my shift boot mounted to the side of the console that i can flip without taking anything off or even noticing it from the passenger seat. i put a an activation button beside my clutch on the footrest (where old school cars had the switch for the brights). this is perfect because i have to be off the N20 to use the clutch and shift. pretty sweet...i like it.

AND IT FEELS GREAT!
