Default How much of a hit and what kit to go with?

Given my mods what would be the MOST anyone would recommend me installing on my car? I am a newbie to nitrous so suggestions are appreciated as to kit choice as well (Dry/wet)(Manufacture,though NX looks like a great choice).TIA Craig

my buddy is running almost that exact same set-up. same cam, same headers, same y-pipe, and ported throttle body. the only thing you have that he doesnt is the LS6 intake. but anyway, he is running a 125 hp shot, with an NX wet kit, and 2 degrees of pulled timing on spray. . but i would not recommend you spray that much without having your timing retarded about 2 degrees, a bigger fuel pump, and since you an M6 a window switch. Also dont forget to throw in same NGK-TR6 plugs gapped at about.038.

by the way with the NX 125 wet-shot, and mods almost exactly the same as yours(minus the LS6 intake which is hurting him), he put down 482rwhp, and 497rwtq.

i'd say get a pump, some tr6s, and have her tuned on a 100 shot and later if you get the fungs get a timing tuner to retard the timing on spray and than maybe the 150 but your bottom end may or may not last forever.

Thanks for the great suggestions, I was worried about the bottom end since i am already at 390RWHP so thanks for bringing that up Slow Trap.482rwhp, and 497rwtq. << Nice #'s on your friends car Blk97WS6.I wonder what kind of 1/4 mile times that equates to?

he should be able to run mid-low 11's all day long, hes got a 12-bolt so he can launch it pretty hard. he made a pass before the nitrous and ran an 12.3, so you figure about .8-1.0 off of that time on nitrous.

btw your bottom end should be fine with a 125 shot. that would be putting you around 500 rwhp/tq, our bottom ends can handle that no problem. once you start getting in the 550-600 range then you should start to worry. but there are PLENTY of people on this site pushing around and even over 500 hp/tq with the stock bottem end, whether it be from a big heads/cam, nitrous, or turbo/supercharger.

I have the same TR 224 cam. I dont have the ls6 manifold or headers and I am spraying a 125 wet shot. I actually got a 132 rwhp with the spray. My numbers are 334rwhp and 335 rwtq all motor. With the sauce 466 rwhp and 530 rwtq. My bottom end has 93k on it.
