Default SES light came on after spray HELP!

I just joined the club, with a wet 150 shot from NX, and the FJO controller, and an a very happy guy. I am planning on going to th etrack today to see what times I can run. However last night I just had to test the spray, and the second time i tried it (on the street) my SES light came on and hasn't gone off. I'm not so worried about the light, but does that mean there might be a problem, and will it affect the cars tune, timing, etc?
Thanks for the help, Rick

I read a lot on here before I had it put in. I am running tr-6 pulgs at .38. I drove the car after the light came on and it ran fine. I'm going to autozone to get it scanned now. I'll post the code as soon as I get back. Thanks for the replies!

I went and had the code pulled, had 2 in there, p0138 and p0158, both were O2 sensor codes, and the light actually went off right after I left my house to go there. I think I might be running a little rich, but I think I'm fine to head to the track and finally give a real run at my brothers procharged stang!! It's abotu time he saw the rear end of a Z!

did you get it on the dyno yet to check air fuel??? you may be running too rich or even worse, too lean which could trigger o2 sensor codes. than again, the o2's themselves may be on their way out if they have never been changed.

+1 probally ran a little lean and triggered the 02s. need more info on your setup i hope your not running 150 on a stock pump that could explain alot .

I would pull all of the plugs. There is no easier indicator of the motor internals (Piece of mind)

Default Everything seems fine.

The shop left it a bit rich when I got the car, to be on the safe side they said. I ran 4 passes yesterday at the track with no problems. (Yes I am running a 150 wet shot on stock pump) My only mods are lid and LM2 catback.
Not only was my first run NA my best ever (13.8@100.96) my old best was 13.9@around 100
I then raced my brother (who was my main reason for getting N20, he has a 99 stang GT with a procharger and ragged on me all last year)
Beat him 3 times in a row (he complained his car needs re-tuned, he really did run his worst times ever, 13.17, 13.23, and 13.36)
My best run was 12.78@113.34 (and 12.83 and 12.91)
The best one was a 2.11 60ft, 8.28 1/8th@86.23
I'm running zuzion ZRi street tires and was very conservative with the N20 progression on the FJO controller. It was set at 25% at 3000 rpms ramped up to 100% at 5800 rpm's. I'm going to try at 50% from 3k up to 100% at 5800. I was suprised I didn't have traction problems, it's a crappy local track, but overall I'm very happy with what I'm sure will be a long-lasting addiction with the bottle!!

His best was a 12.7 @108 at a much better track, and he had a bassani exhaust with x-pipe, which he converted back to a stock mach1 exhaust since he didn't like it being that loud! He has BFG DR's so he beat me on the launch every time, and at the 60ft each time, but I had him by the 8th in each run. I must say I really like that progressive controller, I just have to get the settings perfect. I wish you could seperate 1st gear from the others in teh ramp, not just 1st gear lockout which I wouldn't want to do.
