Two stage. Wet/Dry which 1st?
Just as the title says, I have been told both ways for different reasons. Some say dry first to pull timing. Some say wet first and then dry to lean it out. I'm not even going into the whole "(blank first) because it hits harder" thing.

alot of everything i have seen is a small dry first to get off the line the let big wet eat after traction is estabilished. GM Muscle has a setup like this on his car and has had some very good results with it. unfortunately I dont have an exact reason why its done that way but hope it helps you out

Is it any safer off the line to shoot the dry first? Mostly in case of a bog situation or whatever at least you don't have fuel in the intake and I would think it would reduce the chance of a backfire.... (guessing here)

On street cars running a 2 stage with them being a wet and dry stage we usually do the dry as the first stage. With the dry you won't get a/as large tq spike as a wet shot when the stage is activated, make traction a bit easier to obtain.
