Default Cam/nitrous question

I have the TR224/224 cam, and my timing right now is 2 degrees advanced to help with surging. I will be putting a 100 shot wet kit on soon and was thinking about doing the timing tuner deal. Anyone know where I can get this thing, and how much it costs? Would the timing need to be retarded 6 degrees from where it is now, when the nitrous is armed?

75 shot on a wet kit keep stock setting, 100 Wet take it back two degrees.
For you go back four degrees from your presant setting, and your set.

What octane fuel are you using? Personally I would pull the two degrees back out before spraying, so that it's basically the stock timing table. You could use the LS1 TT to do it, so then you have the timing NA to help with the cam surge. Here's a link to the TT:

Thanks,

Im running 93 octane. So I should keep the 2 degrees advance with the timing tuner, then when the nitrous is armed it would retard the timing 4 degrees or 2 degrees from the unarmed state at 2 degrees advance? I just put new head gaskets on the car when I did the cam swap, but the rings have never been changed. It has 72k on it now, would a 100 shot do anything to the engine/drivetrain (stock rear)? I may go through 1 10lb bottle every 3-4 weeks...

I would just pull out the two degrees that you added in, when the N2O system is activated. A 100 shot shouldn't have any adverse effects, as long as your fuel system is up to par for the shot size.

i was told to retard 2 degrees per 50HP of nos but on a 100 shot retard it bout 2 or 3 degrees and it will make it have a harder punch bc it will run a little lean for the nos!
