Default NOS/NX jetting question..

I have a question here. Not sure how to get the correct jetting for this kit.

The kit started out as a NOS 5177 dry kit. The guy changed it to a wet kit by adding a NOS fuel solenoid. The 2 solenoids end up in a NX shark nozzle. So my question is.....

Do my jet sizes go by NOS jetting, or NX jetting?
I checked out the jet chart in the sticky, and now I'm confused.

I would talk to Dave from nitrous outlet. He sells both and should have good information for you.

You may try sending him a PM! He's real good and returning PM's quickly.

+1, just ask dave. i would probably run NX name brand jets (have a jet kit) and make an educated guess to start with, depending on the shot size

I don't know if your asking about which brand/style jet to use, or what size chart? You base you jetting on bottle pressure. NOS rates their jetting at 950psi, and NX at 1050. The physical jets are also different. You'll need the NX jets to fit the NX nozzle. We also carry the full line of NX jets.

good info... i had a question though...

should he use the NX jets AND reference NX's size chart for jetting size? (assuming hes using a bottle warmer to run the PSI up to 1050)...

AIf you are using the NX nozzle, then please use the NX jets. several reasons.
1. NOS jets do not fit my nozzle
2. Our patterns are set up using our nozzle.
3. HMMM those are the important ones.
