Default Direct port, Anyone used Nylon line to foggers ???

Im making my own direct port kit for pretty cheap and instead of using $100-150 bucks worth of steel/stainless hard line that runs from the distribution blocks to the fogger, i just ordered a roll of 20 ft of NOS NHRA approved nylon 1/8 line. I dont have to custom bend all the line and it will take alot less time to plumb the n20/fuel lines to the foggers.

Has anyone used these before??? NOS uses them on all their NOZZLE kits that go under the injectors.... And its cheap and easy

So far in building my own direct port kit here is my costs:

8-pack Fogger nozzles $160 bucks
Nylon line $20 (20 ft)
2-in, 16-out siamesed distribution block $40
AN fittings etc $50
and i already had the bottle, solenoids, braided lines

The nylon SS lines are easiler to route, but they flow about 75% less than SS tube. I do not see how you can say it is cheaper than tube. When I looked into it, it was about $80 for 20' -3an line and about $200 for 32 -3an hose fittings. Also, I would not use the 2-in to 16-out blocks, because they flow like crap. The best flowing blocks are 1-in to 4-out like the TNT ones.

also the NOSzels are 80 bucks EACH from summit or jegs... that is 640 bucks just for the NOSzels..

just pay to get the lines bent... it will be a lot less hassel

well he's already paid for the fogger nozzles, he's not gonna use the NOSzel's. i like what he's doing and if you are going for budget, paying to have lines bent doesn't exactly fit the bill.

with the distribution blocks, for the TNT ones, you would need 4 blocks then correct? would the better flow of those blocks be negated by the fact of having to T the fuel and n2o solenoids? I honestly don't know how much effect if any a t-fitting has on flow.

my bad i thought he was saying he was getting the NOSzels for 160bucks... ok he just got regular foggers... nevermind... but still having the lines bent would be best... but the lines themselves cost over 100bucks for 16. then 200-300 to bend them nice

Using T fittings will affect the flow of the nitrous. You should use Y fittings, they are designed to split the flow without disrupting it. The TNT blocks use the same design as the Y fittings. The NOS 2 to 16 blocks use the same design as a T fitting.

So the only drawback when using 1/8th nylon lines is that they flow about 75% less than the hardlines?

This wouldnt cause a problem with the fuel flowing through the lines, right?

Or could you just use larger nylon lines to compensate?

The nylon line will affect the fuel side also, but it is not as bad as the nitrous side. One thing that can be done is to increase the fuel pressure from the secondary fuel pump.

.....and I am guessing that you have to use different fittings when using the nylon lines?
