h/c/i how much spray?
i have heard a million times that the stock s.b. is good up to a 150 shot.
my question is would that be on a bonestock motor? i already have ported ls6 heads, large cam, full exhaust and a ported 78mm fast intake. car is street tuned so i dont have dyno numbers. numbers with stock ls1 heads were 404/360

I've talked to Ray at Nitro Dave's lots of times about this. Just like you all said, as long as you have a GOOD tune with some GOOD fuel, maybe even a standalone, then you should be ok.
I plan on spraying a 150 shot on top of the power I'm making now.

I know what you are asking. People always talk about the size shot and forgot to mention how much it is making NA. I did a 150 on top of H/C/bolt-ons and left it as a very conservative tune. I'm not sure it is the size shot or just the fact that once you get closer to 600hp at the motor that you need to be concerned. I guess the tq spike is probably part of the reason people say its the size of shot.
So a stock 300hp + 300 shot (1-stage) is probably a lot harder than a H/C 450 + 150 shot. (this would assume the shot is rated rwhp and not grossly off.)
I am by no means an expert but it seems it is the combo of power NA + shot not just one or the other. I don't think the internals care whose fault it was other than there was too much hp/tq than they could handle.

I'm at 150 + H/C 500rwhp (through th400 & 9") and I've got the racetronix kit and the 28lb injectors. I'm basically the the edge N/A and just jetted the kit to get my A/F safe on the spray.

You'll be fine with the 39lber's but if you wanted to be 100% covered for a 150hp shot then i'd suggest getting a racetronix style pump system. The racetronix kit will net you fueling capable of supporting around 630rwhp. The racetronix kit is $249.99
