Default V6 kit on a ls1 Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is for my best friend he picked up a N20 wet kit for a v6 brand new 4 in the box 4 100$.He said what the hell I put it on my car he has a 2000 ws6 no mods just a predator tuner .
The N20 works great and hits hard till u get 2 bout 4grand then it starts breaking up he has changed the fuel filter, spark plugs to a colder ngk ,and has tried changing the pills around .
I told him to take some timing out with the tuner but he keeps saying that these cars will adjust for the N20 maybe if I get some info I will print it out and show him what y"all guys think
He started off with a 100 but now he has a 75 in there should he take the performance tune and just back off the timing or richin the fuel up or both
Thank You

Good be lean, good be rich, good be too much timing, could be a lot of stuff... get a wideband setup.

He needs to get rid of the predator if hes spraying it because that adds timing to increase hp when you use that. Cars don't compensate for nitrous, it not some magical vehicle cause its a WS6 that can magical adjust its afr for nitrous. Get rid of the predator, and a wideband it, just my .02.
