David,
I would be interested to see what other answers you come up with other than what Ray told you over the phone today. Please share with me what you end up with. I will be happy to work with you in anyway.

I made a phone call to a buddy of mine to get his opinion as well before Ray called you back.. The thought behind this is the following.

Assuming you have a really good water to cooler system removing it with running the amount of boost and making the power you are is going to add alot of heat back into the system.

Replacing what the water to cooler does may not be as easy as simply just adding some more power to make up the weight..

For one you will need to switch the car over to Alcohol. This will require a complete fuel system change.. Then during tunning this system you will have to lower the boost and work up the tune with adding boost and nitrous while watching the airtemp.
At some point you may find your self spraying more nitrous and lower boost in order to keep it cool.

Interesting.... Why not just add a n20 kit and leave the A2W on the car.

150 shot will wake that bitch up for sure !!!!!

more of a question than a suggestion (sorry for the hijack) does running a spray bar on an air-to-air intercooler work at all?
i've seen guys at the track get the intercooler nice and frosty before a run. no idea how well it works though. i figured if i was going to go procharged, i'd run a line and wire it like a purge all up in the intercooler.

Just be sure not to spray it while on the track, one guy in an Evo got kicked out after doing it again after getting warned. He was dripping water down the track.

Why not run a meth injection kit MTM?

Check with some of the turbo buick guys. A few of them are using a small shot of nitrous to get spooled and cool the intake temps.

I dont know if this will help but back when I had my N20 hidden in the lid the IAT's would go from 120* or more depending on track temps down to 10-20*.

How hot do the IAT's get without the A2W?

I don't think you will make up the power without running enough spray to start hurting stuff.

But it be intersting to see what a nitrous/meth/water injection kit coudl do on a turbo car. It worked excelent on my nitrous car. I was seeing a big drop in egt's so it was definatly cooling things down without costing me hp.
