Default Parts list, is there anything else i need?

I currently have a ZEX nitrous system on the Z06. Personally i would have chosen another system but it came with the Z so i might as well use it. I want to make it safer to run since its bare bones right now. Could someone look over this parts list and tell me if there is anything i am missing.

Blow Down Tube
Bottle Heater & Blanket
FJO Progressive Controller
and either a Dyno Tune Lean Shut-Down Switch or a FPSS

I will also be converting the system to a 90mm Plate from Nitrous Outlet.

Do i need Nitrous & Fuel Pressure Gauges?

Unfortintly if you want to stick with the ZEX system you will not be able to run a progressive controller. Your best bet would be to get the ZEX windowswitch as it comes with a gear lock out feature and it wires directly into the Zex system with ease.

The rest looks pretty well. Dont forget spark plugs. I am not 100 percent sure about the Dynotune lean cut out switch if it will owrk in conjuction with the ZEX system. I know either Chris or Ray was helping a guy the other day with one. I can ask them in the morning when I get to work.

I would at least put a Nitrous pressure gauge in the item list so that away you can monitor the pressure.

If you are concerned with traction on the street and still want to keep it simple the Zex windowswitch will let you lock out first gear. This will let you get moving before the nitrous hits.

Ofcourse I would be happy to help you put together a full system if you would like but I think you can make what you have work.

Traction and trying to prolong the life of my drivetrain are my main concerns.

Its kind of a toss up. But you should be able to plant a 150hp to the road with bringing it in in second gear. Ofcourse a progressive will give you more tunability.

If you want to go another route check out the specials we have posted. We could upgrade the windowswitch to the progressive and you would have everything.

Yea, I would sell it but it doesn't seem like anybody wants to buy the Zex systems. I think i may end up trying to move it into the batery tray area. I might try to put the Zex up for sale for a week and if there aren't any takers just keep it, since it should work alright and i don't plan on going for more than a 175 shot. I got an email out with Chris to see about the parts. In another thread you mentioned possibly making a plate with the inlets on the bottom. How much would something like that run?

Ill have to go look and see if there is enough clearance room to do that with the 78mm intake.

Wide band 02 sensor/gauge .

And yes you will be glad to have fuel and nitrous gauges in the hot summer and cold winter when running nitrous .

Get one of these ,,
